“Matisse: The Red Studio” is now on view at Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, France through September 9.
The exhibition—organized in collaboration with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York and SMK—focuses on the genesis and history of "The Red Studio," Matisse’s 1911 masterpiece.
This exhibition reunites the artworks depicted in "The Red Studio" for the first time since they left Matisse’s studio in Issy-les-Moulineaux, including archival material and related paintings and drawings.
